Tucked away just outside Portland city limits, an oasis exists. The owners' affinity for adventure has taken them to numerous locations around the world, serving as a source of infinite inspiration. The home's spacious floor plan and stunning setting provided the opportunity to layer varied forms, textures, and materials to create a moody, exotic aura.
SAFARI ROOM
Inspired by Safari, the clients' African serval cat, we designed this guest suite to evoke tranquility, enlivened with a sense of adventure.
ADULT RETREAT
Every home needs a getaway. This welcoming retreat was designed to be free flowing for everyday comfort, yet ready for family functions, or an impromptu party. We focused on placing distinctive materials together that compliment rather than compete. This gives the room a relaxing yet energizing feel.
DINING ROOM
Restrained elegance mirroring the running water and lakes that encircle the property. Vibrant blue hues awaken the space and create a natural gathering atmosphere.
MASTER SUITE
The contrasting effect of hand-chiseled limestone walls juxtaposed with artisanal Maya Romanoff wall coverings and lustrous chenille fabrics creates the ultimate sanctuary.
WATERFALL ROOM
This intimate guest bedroom suite is inspired by cascading waterfalls and the meandering lines of rushing water.
